Sergeants 3 makes irritating and bitter tasting greases that are water and temperature resistant. Our products are used mostly for structural property protection and animal control.

The following are common features of all Sergeants 3 products.

Sergeants 3 products:

• are not toxic to humans or animals

• are not flammable or combustible

• are temperature resistant, i.e. they will not melt in the sun, will not freeze in the cold

• do not evaporate easily (because they are greases)

• do not wash away in the rain easily (because they are greases)

• will prevent corrosion to metal surfaces

• are “dielectric greases”, i.e. when applied to electrical wiring/connections they will not impede the flow of current

• have no known expiration date or shelf life, i.e., they can be stored and remain effective for a very long time

• will stay in place on surfaces/objects that are horizontal, vertical, upside down, or in motion

Irritating Grease - A multi-purpose product that stings like hot chili peppers, tastes extremely bitter, and is long lasting.

Despite its similarity to other products used to control animal behavior and protect property from the destructive activities of birds, horses, dogs, rodents, bats, etc., Sergeants 3 makes no pesticidal, medicinal, or nutritional claims about Irritating Grease, nor do we suggest a specific targeted use. Irritating Grease is a ‘multi-purpose’ general use product in the tradition of WD-40™ and duct tape

Irritating Grease can be painted onto or wiped onto a horizontal or vertical surface. When used outside it will not freeze, melt, or evaporate away (although normal ‘oil separation” may still occur, such as what happens to house paint when it sits in a can too long.) Be advised, Irritating Grease will eventually soak into porous surfaces.

Sgt Reckless Horse Grease - Used by owners of horses and other equines, but it also works against pit bulls and other large animals that like to chew their owners' property. Horse Grease protects fences, barns, and other material from damage by animal chewing, biting, etc.

Bitter Balm - The extremely bitter taste keeps animals from chewing on wood, metal, plastic, etc.  Originally designed to keep dogs from chewing up their bandages when they get home from the vet, it turns out that Bitter Balm also works for penned up competition horses AND CONTAINS NO BANNED SUBSTANCES for USEF, FEI, TRA, AQHA sanctioned events.
